Q. Why does the eStore look different? A. Staples Promotional Products has upgraded the architecture of the e-store to provide you with the latest in interactive electronic catalogs. This upgraded site is a great enhancement over the former site, allowing for a quicker, easier shopping and buying experience with the highest level of security. The organization of the eStore remains the same.
Q. What’s different about the new eStore? A. You will notice several new user-friendly features as you browse the site, such as the “breadcrumbs navigation” on each page to indicate where you’re browsing in a sequence of items, and the real-time shopping cart. We’ve also added an “Announcements” box on the right side, which will be updated with any special announcements, new features, or special promotions currently offered on the site.
Q. Can I browse the new site without a log-in or an account? A. Yes, shop all you want. But, when it’s time to check out, you’ll be asked to log in.
Q. Can I use my registration and password from the former site? A. Yes. All user information was transferred.
Q. What is online, real-time inventory? A. As items are sold, there is a “countdown” showing how many are left in inventory. Most items are restocked quickly, so call Customer Service if you want to order more of an item than what is shown in inventory.
Q. What is the Volume Discount Department? A. This refers to items that are available at lower prices because higher quantities are ordered at one time – the savings are passed on to you. These items are sent directly from the factory and have longer lead times than in-stock merchandise.
Q. How do I contact Staples Promotional Products if I need help with the site or to make a suggestion? A. In the left-side navigation links, click on “How to Order.” This will direct you to the Customer Information page. From there, click on the link for “Suggestion Box.” Then, simply complete the required fill-ins and type your information in the space for comments. There is also a fill-in for “Requested Item.” Your full name and email address are required.
Q. What is the purpose of the email button on “Add to Cart”? A. This feature allows you to send the photo of an item, its description, and your comments to another person for information, comments, or approval.
Q. What if I forget what the item looks like after I email it? A. In “Add to Cart,” click on “Check Out This Product” and you will return to the product that you emailed.
Q. Is there a running charge for sales tax in the shopping cart? A. No. Sales tax information is not calculated as a running charge in the shopping cart because it’s only calculated at checkout, when the order is placed.
Q. Is there a cut-off for same-day shipments? A. Yes, air freight orders need to be received by 3 p.m. EST in order to be shipped the same day. If you request same-day shipment within the Shopping Cart, there is a message on the “Shipping Estimate Calculator” that reminds you of this deadline.
